Suzy is in the er while the medical team works to stabilize her. the patient is hooked up to a 3 lead heart monitor with a bp cuff placed. the med team assists her weak breathing with ambu bagging while they prep her for a 12 lead ecg exam. the med team places conventional vacuum electrodes onto her chest and cuffs onto her limbs. they continue ambu bagging her. suddenly dramatic changes occur and the med team must restart cpr on the patient. they perform deep and strong chest compressions and ambu bagging. the defibrillator is charged but there is no response. they continue the cpr and ambu bagging. following a few cycles of resus, the med team switches to the resqcpr pump and inserts a mayo pipe to keep her airways clean. following a few big defibrillations, they intubate the patient and continue cpr with dramatic deep and strong chest compressions and ambu bagging through the et tube. they must perform a few more cycles of resuscitation then place the defibrillator paddles again. after a successful defibrillation the patient’s pulse returns to normal rhythm. an excellent er clip with symptoms, stretcher, 12 lead ecg with vacuum electrodes, ambu bagging, cpr with deep and strong chest compressions, resqcpr pump, defibs, intubation and mayo pipe with realistic large hollywood reactions. a very exciting clip for medical fans and a must-see clip for all cpr and defib fans.
